Big Crowds of People Smashed Together
Discussing fiction, the big crowds were what was so interesting about Amber, right? Amber had a big crowd of cool characters all pinballing off each other. Of course, most of them were related, and I’m a bit puritanical in things like keeping it in the family. Romances do tend to drive the story along, and a few of them in background make background characters much more interesting.
The setting worked.
