I don’t believe in charge or fields.

When you start physics, Newton’s action at a distance sounds profoundly uncomfortable. But after five or so years of it, you just get used to it and stop complaining. By the time you’re doing QM in any seriousness, it’s just a thing you do.

It’s garbage. That sounds like lies we’re being aclimated to. Fields don’t exist outside of background geometry.

The AI that controls self publishing at Amazon is changing the categories for my book Mara and the Trolls. It does a terrible job. After I set the categories, the AI changes them to conflicting categories. This causes Amazon to flag the book as having bad categories, and I get sent alerts.

Amazon will not stop changing the categories, nor will it do it well. I can’t turn off the bad AI that makes these changes. However after these changes are made, I have to fix them.

And then Amazon does it again.

Mercedes makes deeply ugly cars. The EQS has got to be the ugliest thing on four wheels. It’s just shockingly bad.
