For dragon enthusiasts
It took a week or two, but every day a weight has been lifting slightly from my shoulders. It’s funny how tense I was about that.
Drawing little bits of maps for Elegy, and starting to play around with ideas for another kid’s book. Been kicking a few scenes around between Corwin and Julian. Finals are this week. I’ll be happy when they’re done.
It takes a few days to website things: add links, remove placeholders, etc. I also have to do Amazon things which take a little longer. But Mara in paperback is live, and available for the low introductory price of $11.99. In a few months (I think it’s ninety days), the price will return to $14.99. But for now, $12 for Mara in paperback, and the Kindle version is staying at $10.

I didn’t catch anything. Mara and the Trolls in Kindle edition is now republished, hopefuly permanently.
This was first published in unedited segments in 2013, and it’s now 10/21/2020. It was collected and book published June 1st of this year. This has been a bear, but I still laugh at the jokes.

Corrections are done, and MS is back to the layout professionals.
I’m doing grammar edits because this is my life now, but I gotta tell you, some of the jokes in this thing are wonderful.
Writing is the fun part. Publishing is annoying af. Having written is underwhelming and boring. But the writing itself is the good stuff.
