They’re fascinating. They leave a distinct URL ‘from’ address in the logs that if clicked on, redirect to a malware loaded spam page. It’s pretty clever. If I didn’t pay attention the logs, I wouldn’t notice the spam, but people who pay attention to logs are probably the most likely targets for SEO spam.
