Going to graduate school is weird. You pay the school a ton of money to let you work really hard.
On the other hand, a decent power supply is about a thousand bucks, and sometimes I just need three of them. And a scope. Sig gen. HPC. Coffee machine. Floor buffer. Overhead lights. Trash service. Box of stepper motor driver boards. Ovaltine.
They don’t have Ovaltine. I bring my own.
