Every business newspaper is constantly running dire stories of the lack of workers. How many of those workers are being turned away due to incompetent HR departments?

I just submitted a resume. They auto-populated some information. Every single field was wrong. Every single bit of info was its own field, and through a delivish act of shear malice, the website found a way to disable copy and paste. I had to hand enter my entire resume.

They then deleted it and made me start again.

This is why you yahoos can’t find employees.

I’m going to read three fun things next. Bam, bam, bam. No Matlab, no deep learning, no serious philosophy. I want infantile jokes or swords and sorcery.

My favorite part of the movies was probably the fight.

Not to take anything away from Sam, but he wasn’t the first person to give up the ring. I’m talking about the moment in Cirith Ungol when he hands Frodo the ring back.

In the movies, Boromir gives up the ring when they’re climbing Caradhras. Remember Frodo tumbles, loses the ring, Boromir picks it up, and Aragon tells him to give it to Frodo? Boromir does.

Also, Frodo drops it into an envelope Gandalf is holding, and Gandalf seals the envelope and gives it back.

Gollum wouldn’t have done that.

I come back to you now at the turn of the tide.

Heavy cream is delightful in coffee. It’s a little too thick for daily coffee, but a bit from time to special time is quite nice.

It comes in little cardboard cartons.

Egg whites come in a slurry in a little carboard carton.

Egg white fluid looks a lot like heavy cream.

Cartons of egg whites are stored in the fridge door, right next to the heavy cream.

Egg whites are not delightful in coffee.
