Distractions

I have a battle scene on my plate, and I don’t know how to go about it. I find myself getting bogged down in slice-of-life bits which, while fun, are completely unnecessary to the plot. Not that I’m adverse, but a cute or tense conversation between three people is a lot easier to plot and execute than ten thousand warriors making war.

Now

Living totally in the infinite now probably isn’t the wisest idea. It’s probably better to spread oneself across now, then, and the future, but not evenly.

Mostly in the now most of the time seems better.
